Pandemic Preparedness Courses

One-day Pandemic Preparedness Awareness Course CA-036-RESP

The essential course for first responders, including law enforcement, EMS providers, public health and safety workers, utility workers, and others, to prepare for pandemic influenza. This is a thorough and informative awareness-level training on pandemic influenza, delivered in three modules, each developed around a PowerPoint presentation. Two-day Pandemic Preparedness Awareness Course Train the Trainer CA-036-RESP

This course for trainers can be held as day two of the Awareness Course, or the two days can be set aside solely for the Training of Trainers. Each participant receives, in addition to the Participant Guide, an Instructor Manual, which comes in a tabbed binder and includes a CD. After successfully completing the course, the trainer is certified to teach Pandemic Preparedness Awareness and purchase the Participant Manuals for future classes. Funding for these Courses

The Federal Department of Homeland Security, California Office of Homeland Security, and California Department of Health Services have approved both the Pandemic Preparedness Awareness Course and the Train the Trainer for eligibility for Homeland Security funding for registration and associated costs.
