Radiation Safety and Protection Program Toolkit for the Judicial Branch

The Radiation Safety and Protection Program Toolkit for the Judicial Branch has been prepared to help court administrators administer a radiation safety and protection program that meets state and federal regulations. This toolkit is organized into two main sections. The Administrator binder addresses the court’s responsibilities, provides the regulatory background for these requirements, and offers practical tips for meeting those responsibilities. The Security Provider Training booklet, addresses security provider training offers tools for helping to ensure that operators of court cabinet X-ray systems have the knowledge and skills they need to run these machines safely and effectively.

The complete toolkit also includes two (2) CDs that contain regulatory resources and security provider training, along with one (1) English Prohibited Items poster.
