30-Minute Plan

The 30-Minute Plan is a colorful 2-sided guide designed for use during your response to an incident. It also provides a tool for effective interaction and collaboration with Public Safety.

The 30-Minute Plan is a phased approach to managing an emergency - starting with the Discovery phase and transitioning to Initial Response, Sustained Actions, and finally Termination phase. Each phase has a check list of concerns and reminders to help guide a collaborative approach between public safety and the industrial response leaders. The back of the Plan includes command reminders and a format for an Incident Action Plan and Safety Plan.

Emergency Response Cards

The Emergency Response Cards serve as a "glove box" checklist of emergency response issues associated with an ammonia emergency; from discovery and initial response to doing a situational status and determining the proper strategy, tactics, personal protective equipment and safety measures for the Incident Action Plan and Safety Plan.

The Ammonia Safety Awareness DVD

The Ammonia Safety Awareness Video is a great introduction to the basics of ammonia safety. The video contains clips and photos that teach the hazards of ammonia depicted by a character named SAL, and ways to escape injury when SAL is released due to mismanagement. SAL is followed by LANCE, our super-hero who knows exactly how to manage SAL. LANCE explains how to size up and deal with an ammonia release during the discovery phase of an emergency event.
