Continuing the Legacy of Dr. William Kane

Bill Kane was a former vice-president for research and professional development for the International Union for Health Promotion and Education’s North American Regional Office (IUHPE NARO) and a founding member of the Mohan Singh Society. Bill passed away in 2007 at the age 59 after a valiant fight with pancreatic cancer. His long career as an educator and a staunch advocate for health equity, as well as his laughter and model for healthy living, positively influenced the lives of many individuals. This Fellowship will ensure that his memory lives on and turn his loss into a legacy of hope through health promotion and health education.
