Beth C. Friedman: Finance Manager

Beth Friedman keeps track of ToucanEd’s finances, and does so with meticulous attention to detail and contagious enthusiasm. She uses her expertise in QuickBooks and Excel to track the current pulse of cash flow, forecast income, and arm the management team with the numbers they need to plan the company budget. Beth handles payroll, invoicing for services, and accounts payable and receivable.

Beth is no stranger to publishing. Before joining ToucanEd in 2004, she worked for an Oregon-based company that develops empowering publications, managing departments from production and editorial to finance. She has a BFA in Film/Sculpture from San Francisco Art Institute, and is a certified Natural Foods Chef. When she's not working at ToucanEd, she's building her private practice as a whole foods personal chef.

Beth is a passionate bicycle commuter, riding her bike regularly for exercise, fuel-sustainability and fun. In her own words, she loves living in “paradise on the Monterey Bay.”
